Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club
Women's Auxiliary
The LHYC Women's Auxiliary is an organization of Club women dedicated to fellowship and service to the Club and the wider community. The club sponsors many of the children's activities around the club, and raises money for specific club projects. The Auxiliary took the leadership in the recent rebuilding of the play yard. The Auxiliary from its inception at the founding of the club has always served the broader lake community. During WWII the Auxiliary was heavily involved in the war effort. For many years the organization worked closely with the American Cancer Society. Most recently the Auxiliary has raised money for needy children and their families in the lake area.
