LHYC CREW PAGE

There is a growing list of skippers needing crew at LHYC. This is due to expanding fleets as many of our crew are moving into their own boats. Crew do not need to be a member of LHYC. Age and weight requirement vary widely by skipper. Experience is generally NOT required. Most skippers simply require enthusiasm and a desire to learn! We generally sail one or two races on Sunday, most holidays, and an occasional Saturday. Crew should expect to be at the club around 9:00 on the day of the race, and we usually finish just before lunch. Sailing is done typically within sight of the club, and conditions vary from 5 to 20, often on the same leg! Some skippers need part time crew (a "bench"), and some are looking for a commitment to most Sundays. Send inquiry to crew@lhyc.com. Crew: please send name, phone number, and boat preference, if any.
