The Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club has fleet racing in our four major fleets - E-Scows, Stars, Thistles, and A-Class Catamarans - every Sunday morning, and many Saturdays from May 20 to September 25.  Recent successful fleet-building efforts have resulted in over 45 boats on the starting line each Sunday. In addition, there is Laser racing on Friday evenings in July and August.  Although club membership is required to race as skipper, non-members are welcome to crew for members.   The club also sponsors a number of regattas, including our annual Spring and Fall regattas for Scows and Thistles, and the Tomahawk regatta in early June for Stars.  Our largest annual regatta is for our smallest boats, as the club hosts our annual Back-to-School regatta in early September for as many as 100 sailors in Optimist Dinghies and Lasers from throughout the northeast  Click on the fleet logos above to see news and results for each fleet, and for regatta information.  Click on the US SAILING logo below for a direct link to the website for the governing body of Sailing in the United States.
