2011 Preliminary Notice of Race

Preliminary Information

  • The official Notice of Race will be posted at the regatta site

  • Racing will consist of three separate race courses:

Main Fleet Divided into Red, White, and Blue Divisions depending on age
Green Fleet Novice Sailors
Laser Radial Laser Sailors 16 and under.

  • Course Location:  In Front of Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club, Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey (Directions at LHYC.com.)

  • Race Schedule

0800 - 1000 Registration - Continental Breakfast
0945 Coaches Meeting
1000 Skippers Meeting - All Fleets
1015 Skippers Meeting - Individual Fleets
1030 Harbor Gun - First Race
1230 Lunch
1315 Harbor Gun - Third Race
1530 Last Possible Time to Start Last Race
1615 Trophy Presentation
1700 Family Cook-out

  • All races sailed in accordance with US Sailing Rules, as amended by IODA.

  • Trophies awarded to top five in each fleet, and top five overall in main Optimist Dinghy fleet

  • Registration Fees: $43

  • All Participants receive a t-shirt and participate in a post-regatta raffle open to all non-trophy winners.
