Commodore Brett Wiss Douglas

Commodore Douglas is not only a fourth-generation member, but also the first third-generation commodore, following her grandfather Thomas H. Wiss III, and father Thomas H. Wiss IV. From a very young age, Brett has been involved in all aspects of the club, including president of the Juniors, Junior Sailing Instructor and serving as a trustee, as well as participating on almost every committee. She has won numerous sailing awards, both as skipper and crew, but also rarely misses a social event. Following a career in advertising, Brett lives at the lake with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Conor and Annabelle.
