LHYC PUBLIC EVENTS

  • 2024 FIREWORKS - Friday, June 28 (Rain Date June 29) - Please note: LHYC will make every effort to update this page in case of inclement weather. Please do not call LHYC. LHYC grounds are not open to the public for this event. Parking on Bertrands Island is for residents and members only.

  • 2024 LAKE HOPATCONG ANTIQUE AND CLASSIC BOAT SHOW - Saturday, June 15 - Show is open to the public 10 AM to 4 PM. 44th Annual Show. More than 50 boats are displayed both on land and in the water. These boats are as old as the early 1920's and many from the 1940's and 1950's. Listen to the growling engines as the boats parade by the docks. Come and meet he owners of these beautiful boats and hear the story of their preservation. Lunch and beverages are for sale at the Yacht Club. (More info at lhacbs.org)

  • NJ BOATING REGULATIONS COMMISSION MEETING - Wednesday, July - LHYC will be hosting a meeting of the Boating Regulations Commission from 10 AM to 12 Noon. The meeting is open to the public.

The Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club sponsors or hosts several public events each year, including the annual Lake Hopatcong Fireworks Display, and the Annual Lake Hopatcong Antique and Classic Boat Show. LHYC provides the facilities, logistics, and on-water support for the fireworks.  The club contributes some funding, along with lake municipalities, businesses and individuals in the lake area. (Please email lhycfireworks@gmail.com if you would like to contribute.) LHYC also gratefully acknowledges the cooperation and participation of our area first responders which make this display possible, including the NJ State Police Marine Division, the Mount Arlington Fire Marshal, the Mount Arlington Volunteer Fire Department, and the Jefferson Fire Department Fireboat. Historical Foundation Dinner and Historical Information
